How We Can Help

Our Background
About Ergoadaptive Go Specialist pushchair advisers for autistic and SEN children across the UK Ergoadaptive Go was founded by a team of specialist mobility and posture advisers who recognised a gap that many families of autistic children fall into: the equipment their children genuinely need exists, but finding the right model — and accessing the funding to make it affordable — is far harder than it should be. We started working as posture and seating specialists in 2015, initially supporting families and healthcare professionals across Kent and London. Over time, as families from further afield found us and as the need for specialist autism pushchair guidance became increasingly clear, we expanded our work to cover the whole of the UK. Today we work with families from every region, supporting them through every stage of the specialist pushchair process — from initial guidance and sizing, through to charity funding applications and ongoing equipment support. What we do We are not a general mobility equipment retailer. Everything we do is focused on children and young people with autism and additional needs, and on the families who care for them. Our range is deliberately curated — we stock only the models we are confident recommending, chosen for their genuine combination of safety, sensory-conscious design and practical daily usability. Alongside equipment guidance, we offer a free charity-matching service that identifies the most relevant funding organisations for each family's specific situation. We provide charity-ready quotes in the format that grant panels require, and we support families through the application process from start to finish. Many of the families we work with access their specialist pushchair through charity grants, Disability Living Allowance, or a blended funding approach — at little or no cost to themselves. Who we work with Over the years, we have worked alongside hundreds of families, occupational therapists, paediatricians, school SENCOs, physiotherapists and local authority teams across the UK. We understand the language of clinical justification, the format charity panels expect, and the specific challenges that come with funding specialist equipment for autistic children — including the frustrating reality that statutory services rarely fund pushchairs for autism without a physical impairment. That knowledge — built through years of real-world experience alongside real families — is what we bring to every enquiry we receive. Our approach We believe that every family deserves honest, practical guidance — not sales pressure. We'll tell you which pushchair is right for your child's specific needs, even if it's not the most expensive one in our range. We'll tell you honestly what the funding landscape looks like and where families in your situation most often have success. And we'll support you through the process for as long as you need us. If you have a question — about equipment, about funding, about whether a specialist pushchair is right for your child at all — we're here to help.
